What I Will Do as Mayor
Seabrook stands at a crossroads. With the Highway 146 project complete, we have a clear choice—embrace progress with strong leadership or risk stagnation and a leadership vacuum.
- Lead with Experience – I bring 30 years of success as a small business owner and a leader in key organizations like the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership.
- Deliver Results – I have led organizations through transition and prosperity, consistently creating opportunities for growth.
- Build Strong Connections – For decades, I have worked alongside local businesses, civic groups, and government partners to strengthen the Bay Area.
- Prioritize Accountability & Integrity – I will lead with transparency and a clear vision for Seabrook’s future.
- Balance Growth & Community – I will drive economic development while protecting Seabrook’s small-town coastal charm.
Vision for Seabrook
Vision
- Preserve Seabrook’s small town coastal feel while promoting smart economic development.
- Beautify city entrances to attract visitors instead of having them bypass Seabrook.
- Improve curb appeal along NASA Rd 1 through partial EDC grants and small business engagement.
- Will ensure that we continue to support maintenance and improvements to our parks and trails.
- Expand small business support through free educational workshops via EDC & SBDC.
Revitalization of Historic Seabrook
- Implement signage and wayfinding improvements, funded through grants and agreements.
- Transform Historic Seabrook into a walkable arts and entertainment district.
- Improve access to trails, sidewalks, and waterfront areas.
- Encourage business redevelopment to fill vacant strip centers and drive local commerce.
- Organize annual festivals and live music events to enhance tourism and quality of life.
Managing Growth & Industrial Expansion
- Address Port expansion challenges impacting northern neighborhoods.
- Maintain strong relationships with Port of Houston, industrial neighbors, and state officials.
- Protect city interests while negotiating development deals that create revenue and greenspace buffers.
- Promote strategic commercial development to protect our parks and neighborhoods.
Election & Team Approach
- Five council positions (including mayor) are on the ballot—this gives us an opportunity for strong new leadership.
- I am running alongside experienced, common-sense candidates: Jared Sessum, Tyler Kubena, Summer Sanford, and Gary Johnson. We are results-oriented.
- I am prioritizing a long-term vision over reactionary politics.
